Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC): Notification No. 10/2023 – Departmental Tests November 2023 Session

ap assistant professor notification 2023>>The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, Vijayawada, is inviting online applications from 27th October 2023 to 16th November 2023 for the Departmental Tests in the November 2023 session. The exact examination dates will be announced later.

If you want to apply for these tests, you need to follow a few important steps:

1. One Time Profile Registration (OTPR):

First, you should register for One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission’s website at http://psc.ap.gov.in. After registering, a User ID will be generated and sent to your registered mobile number and email ID. You will use this User ID to apply for the tests on the Commission’s website.

2. Updating Information:

If you have already generated OTPR for the previous Departmental Tests, you can use the same number but make sure to update your working district according to the new 26 districts before submitting your application.

3. Application Dates:

The application process begins on 27th October 2023, and the last date to submit your application is 16th November 2023 (please note that the last date for fee payment is also 16th November 2023, until 11:59 PM).

4. Online Applications Only:

Handwritten, typed, photostat copies, or any forms not submitted through the Commission’s official website will not be accepted and will be rejected.

Fee and Payment Procedure:

6(A) Fee:

The examination fee for each paper is Rs. 500/- (five hundred rupees) as per G.O.Ms.No.121, G.A(Ser-C) Department, dated 17th September 2020. In addition to the examination fee, there is a processing fee of Rs. 500/- (five hundred rupees) as per G.O.Ms.No.233 GA(Ser-C) Department, dated 5th August 2016. It’s important to note that there is no fee for the tests in Gujarati and Marwari languages.

6(B) Mode of Payment:

You must pay the fees online using the Payment Gateway. You can use net banking, credit cards, or debit cards for this purpose. A list of banks providing this service will be available on the Commission’s website. Please be aware that the fee, once paid, will not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances. If you fail to pay the examination and application fees (in non-exempt cases), your application will be entirely rejected. The Commission does not accept IPOs or demand drafts for fee payment. If you need to make corrections, a fee of Rs. 100/- will be charged per correction, except for changes to your name, personal details, and fee.

7. Procedure to Upload the Application Form:

Before you start your application, make sure to read the instructions carefully. Here is the step-by-step application process:

Step-I: OTPR Registration

If you are applying for the first time, you need to fill the OTPR application carefully to obtain your OTPR ID. It’s crucial to avoid mistakes in this step. The Commission will not be responsible for any errors made by the applicants. If you already have an OTPR ID, you can proceed to Step-II.

Step-II: Login

Use your OTPR ID and the password you set during registration to log in to the Commission’s website. After logging in, click on “Online Application Submission.”

Step-III: Fill Application Specific Data

Check all the data and make sure it is correct. Then, fill in the application-specific data. Once all the data is correctly filled in, you can submit the payment form.

Step-IV: Payment Process

Click on the payment link for Notification No. 10/2023. The basic details needed for fee calculation will be pre-populated from your OTPR data. Verify all the details displayed. After submitting the payment form, these details will not be altered during the application process. If you need to make changes, use the Modify OTPR link, update the details, save, and click on the application payment link.

Step-V: Payment Reference ID

After successful payment, a payment reference ID will be generated. Keep this ID for future reference. You will be directed to the application form. Provide the payment reference ID along with other required details for filling out the application form. The application-specific fields (e.g., examination center) should be filled carefully. Once you successfully submit the application, you will receive an Application Receipt. Print and save this receipt for future reference.

Step-VI: Payment Process Issues

If you encounter any issues during the payment process, start a fresh payment process as mentioned in Step-II.
