Direct Recruitment of Credit Officers in Scale II:
– Post: Credit Officer in Scale II
– Number of Posts: 50 (Fifty only)
– Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) marks, recognized by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies.
– Professional Qualifications (Compulsory): MBA (Full time) preferably in Banking / Finance / Banking & Finance / Marketing / Forex / Credit from a recognized university or institute, or PGDBA / PGDBM / CA / CFA / ICWA/ Financial Risk Manager.
– Candidates without professional qualifications can apply with at least 3 years of experience in specialized branches/controlling offices of banks or financial institutions, with a minimum of 2 years as a Branch Head.
– Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in processing MSME, Mid & Large Corporate proposals, credit appraisal, and branch management.
– Age: Between 25 and 32 years (Relaxation for reserved categories as per government guidelines).
– Bond Period: Two years from the date of joining the bank.
– Probation Period: Six months from the date of joining.
Skill Sets/Core Competencies Required:
– Thorough knowledge of financial statements and their analysis.
– Strong credit appraisal skills to assess funded and non-funded limits, project loans, and export credit proposals.
– Sound knowledge of current RBI instructions and experience in supervising high-value credit.
– Proficiency in computers, good interpersonal communication, analytical, and drafting skills.
Job Profile for Credit Officers in Scale II:
– Appraising new and existing MSME / Mid / Large Corporate proposals.
– Analyzing balance sheets and credit proposals, monitoring credit, and ensuring timely follow-up.
– Adhering to Turn-Around-Time (TAT) for proposal processing.
– Conducting review and renewals of existing proposals.
– Ensuring compliance with KYC norms and RBI guidelines.
– Conducting due diligence on credit proposals.
– Supporting Branch Managers and various verticals in canvassing New to Bank Corporate Borrowers.
– Cross-selling of ancillary business.
– Monitoring MSME / Corporate accounts and ensuring compliance.
– Market intelligence or market due diligence.
– Other tasks as instructed by the Competent Authority.
