National Health Mission Madhya Pradesh Announces Recruitment for Community Health Officers

The National Health Mission in Madhya Pradesh (NHMMP gov in vacancy 2023) is inviting applications for the recruitment of Community Health Officers (CHO) for a 6-month contract period. This recruitment drive aims to fill vacant positions in rural areas and sub-health centers within the state.
Available Positions:
- Certificate in Community Health Training: There are 480 posts available for the January to June 2024 training session.
- Direct Recruitment for the Post of Contract Community Health Officer: 500 posts are open.
Eligibility Criteria:
For Certificate in Community Health Training:
- Candidates must be native to Madhya Pradesh.
- Educational qualifications required include B.Sc (Nursing), Post Basic B.Sc (Nursing), G.N.M., B.A.M.S., or an equivalent degree.
Age Limit:
Candidates applying for these positions must be between 21 to 40 years old as of 01/09/2023. There is a relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Tribes, Other Backward Classes, disabled individuals, and females.
Selection Process:
Candidates can apply for only one type of entrance examination based on their qualifications. The selection and verification process for the Certificate in Community Health (CCH) examination is uniform for direct recruitment to the post of Community Health Officer. Entrance examinations will be conducted.
Pay scale and Incentives:
The honorarium for the post of Contract Community Health Officer is Rs 28,700 per month. Additionally, there is a work-based incentive of up to Rs 15,000 per month.
