Selection Procedure TNEB Job vacancy 2023 :

1. Written Examination
2. Oral Test in the form of an interview
– The final selection is determined by the total marks obtained by applicants in both the written examination and the oral test. This selection process takes into account the rule of reservation of appointments.
– It’s essential for applicants to participate in both the written examination and the oral test. Failure to do so, even if an applicant secures the minimum qualifying marks, will result in their disqualification. Additional details can be found in “Instructions to Applicants.”
For Non-Interview Posts:
– Selection for non-interview posts is primarily based on the marks obtained in the written examination, following the rule of reservation of appointments.
– A rank list is established for interview posts after conducting the oral test, considering marks from both the written examination and the oral test. Candidates selected for interview posts are not considered for non-interview posts.
– Once the selection for interview posts is finalized, a separate rank list based on marks secured in the written examination is prepared for the selection of candidates for non-interview posts. Candidates already selected for interview posts are excluded from this list.
– The selection for non-interview posts takes place after finalizing the selection for interview posts.
– Please note that selection begins with carried forward vacancies as per Section 27 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016, followed by regular vacancies following the rule of reservation of appointments.
