Icmr nirt recruitment 2023 >> The Indian Council of Medical Research – National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (ICMR-NIRT) has announced a recruitment drive for several regular posts. Interested candidates are invited to apply for these positions. Here’s what you need to know:

1. Technical Assistant (Group-B): 60 Posts (Non-Ministerial)

2. Laboratory Attendant – 1 (Group-C): 13 Posts (Non-Ministerial)

How to Apply:

Candidates should apply only through the online mode, once the application link is activated on the official website. Please note that a valid email ID and mobile number are mandatory for the online application process.

Application Fee:

A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 300/- (Three hundred only), plus transaction charges, is required for most candidates. However, SC/ST, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Ex-Servicemen, and Women candidates are exempt from the application fee. ICMR employees are not exempt from paying the fee. The application fee should be paid online during the application process.

Candidates interested in applying for multiple posts should submit separate applications for each post and pay the applicable fees separately.

Required Documents:

When applying, candidates need to upload self-attested copies of various documents, including:

– Proof of Date of Birth

– Proof of Category (SC/ST, OBC NCL, etc.)

– Income and Asset Certificate for EWS candidates

– Disability Certificate (if applicable)

– Proof of Educational Qualifications

– Proof of Work Experience

All communication regarding the application process, examination schedule, and admit cards will be sent to candidates’ registered email IDs and posted on the Institute’s website. Candidates are responsible for receiving, downloading, and printing their admit cards.

Selection Procedure:

The selection for the posts of Technical Assistant and Laboratory Attendant-1 will be based on a computer-based test. The test will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and the subjects and number of questions vary for each post.

The total duration of the computer-based test will be 90 minutes, and the maximum marks will be 100. Correct answers will receive a positive mark, while wrong answers will have a negative mark.

Test Cities/Centers:

The computer-based test will be conducted in Chennai and Puducherry.

Age Limit:

The age limit will be determined based on the candidate’s age as of the last date of receipt of the application for all the posts. The date of birth mentioned in the application form must match the one in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate.

While there is no age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates applying for unreserved posts, age relaxation for other categories will be as per government guidelines, subject to the candidate’s eligibility.
